Chosen Candidates notified: May 1, 2026
Candidate Campaigning: May 1-22, 2026
Candidate Meet and Greet Night: May 19, 2026 from 5:30-6:30pm
Election: May 22-June 11, 2026
Candidates announced: June 12, 2026
Board Retreat: June 26, 2026
New and/or returning board members start their term: July 1st, 2026
ALL BOARD MEMBERS MUST:
- Be a NASW member in good standing during the term of service
- Exhibit a strong commitment to social work values, ethics, advancement of the profession, social action and NASW
- Be available to fulfill the duties of the office and demonstrate leadership potential
- Live or work in the state of Maryland
