We're Looking for Mentors!
NASW-Maryland is seeking social work
professionals to serve as mentors and speakers for our Student Speaker
Series. Share your experience and help shape the next generation of
social workers by volunteering as a mentor for the
NASW-Maryland Student Speaker Series. We are seeking passionate social
work professionals to lead engaging virtual sessions on topics that
support students as they prepare for their careers.
This virtual program connects students
with professionals who are willing to share their knowledge, career
experiences, and practical insights to help prepare the next generation
of social workers. Whether your expertise is in
clinical practice, school social work, medical, leadership, advocacy,
or another area, your perspective can make a lasting impact. Sessions
are designed to be interactive, allowing students to ask questions, gain
practical advice, and build professional connections
with experienced social workers. By volunteering as a mentor, you'll
have the opportunity to inspire students, answer their questions, and
